Residency Program for Adults

Our residency program offers adults the opportunity to grow, expand and continue their education in aerial and performance. This program is perfect for adults that are looking for more of a rigorous weekly training regime and want to focus on performance opportunities. Our program offers two different tracks; an Individual Study and A Group Performance Track depending on what sort of performance study you are looking for. 

Individual Study Track

This performance track focuses on individual study and creation of solo works or performance opportunities offered outside of Apollo. This track includes two weekly technique classes per week, one monthly private lesson and two hours of weekly open training. Technique classes can be a variety of disciplines including aerial, ground dance or trampoline and dancers are able to rotate their technique classes every session. The monthly private lesson can be booked with your coach of choice each month and is subject to the availability of the coach and the studio. 

Cost: $340/monthly tuition 

*Please note some months are longer and have an additional week and billing will be adjusted to reflect how many individual training days you receive. 

Group Performance Track

This performance track focuses on a group creation setting in preparation for a full length production with fellow adult performers or other company members within Iluminar. The full length productions available for performance opportunities include our Halloween, Holiday and Spring Shows. The performance opportunities within these shows would be dependent on what each show director is looking or needing and could possibly require an audition for a more spotlighted aerial role. This track includes two weekly technique classes per week, 2 hours per week of group rehearsal time, and 2 hours of open training. Technique classes can be a variety of disciplines including aerial, ground dance or trampoline and dancers are able to rotate their technique classes every session. 

Cost: $288/monthly tuition
